Young Joni is bored with life, so when she meets Harlow Divine, a glamorous exotic dancer, she is easily enticed by the glitzy nightclub world of Kandyland. When Joni starts performing at the club, her infuriated boyfriend, Frank, breaks up with her. As Joni plans to move to Las Vegas with Harlow she begins to see the seedy realities of Kandyland and Harlow's own tragic life. Suddenly, a drugged up Harlow commits suicide and Joni realizes her own life might be in danger.
