Born Yvette Iola Vedder, Yvette Vickers appeared as the Playboy "Playmate of the Month" for the July 1959 issue, and she was also well-known for her roles in B-movie cult classics such as Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. Her last film appearance was in the 1991 horror film Evil Spirits. Her body was discovered in her home by a neighbor in April 2011, and Social Security has listed her death as April 26, 2011. The body's mummified state suggested that she could have been dead for close to a year.
