Frank Frazetta was an American fantasy and science fiction artist, noted for comic books, paperback book covers, paintings, posters, LP record album covers, and other media. He was often referred to as the 'Godfather of fantasy art'. His painting Egyptian Queen sold for a world record $5.4 million (£4.2m) on May 16, 2019 at a public auction of vintage comic books and comic art held by Heritage Auctions in Chicago, Illinois
