Anthony Shaffer

Anthony Joshua Shaffer was a British writer best known for Sleuth (1972), and screenplays for David Pinner's The Wicker Man (1973), Alfred Hitchcock's Frenzy and three Agatha Christie Hercule Poirot novels. Anthony and his twin brother Peter have both won Tony Awards for Best Play. Anthony's win came in 1971 for Sleuth. Peter and his two wins Equus (1975) and Amadeus (1981).
