Johnny Kapahala, a teen surfing sensation, is uprooted from his island home of Hawaii and forced to a tiny ski resort town in Vermont. He gets caught in the middle of a long-standing battle between the local prep school skiers and public school snowboarders. Yet with the help of his grandfather, he becomes the best athlete on the mountain.
