Hard Time introduces us to the prison world through the story of an inmate, Alain Bergeron, who forged an identity by adhering to the lifestyle and the law of the environment. Hard time is also the story of a criminal investigation led by Franco Castigliani. He must solve the enigma of an attack whose repercussions disrupt life both “outside” and inside.
