On a normal Saturday evening in the late 80s, Walter Schulz (Götz George), a citizen of the GDR, sits in his living room and watches "Aktuelles Sport-Studio". Suddenly he can't believe his eyes: On the show is his missing, identical twin brother Wolfgang (also George). They shoot each other crosswise to arrange a meeting and slip into the role of the other for a day. They trigger a wave of confusion ... After the fall of the wall Wolfgang visits Walter. Walter is currently having difficulties with the ex-functionary Günther, but his children have got used to the "blessings" of capitalism ... (Text: Sebastian Schulte)
