There are two of them - Kovalsky and Boitsov. Stas Kovalsky is a homebody and an exemplary family man. Igor Boytsov is a "lone wolf" who lives only by work. They have completely different interests and lifestyles. However, this did not prevent them from being the best pair of employees in the department for solving premeditated murders of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg. They are both energetic, smart, professional. For this they were nicknamed "cowboys", combining the first syllables of their names.
