In the 1920s, Qingmuchuan in southwest Shaanxi was poor and backward. He Futang, the son of the caravan, finally killed Liu Qingfu in order to avenge his father. Wei Zhengxian, head of the Aboriginal regiment, is an enemy of He Futang. He Futang tried to judge the situation and pretended to defect to the giant bandit Wang Sanchun.
