Mercedes is a teenager passionate about dancing, the daughter of dancers and who dreams of showing her talent in the Duelo do Passinho, an interschool dance competition in Rio de Janeiro. But to do that, she needs to join one of the dance groups. After taking a test to try to join one of the groups and being rejected just because she is a girl, she decides to set up her own group and will do everything she can to win the selection and represent her school in the competition.
