Nokyoong, sent to live with her mother's former music group, finds solace in singing under a dying Plumeria tree. Miraculously, the tree blooms, and she meets Numtaang, a ghost with no memory, trapped within the tree. When she places a Plumeria flower behind her ear, he becomes bound to her, able to communicate only with her.
