Late at night on the streets of Jaffa, a gunshot hits a young Jewish woman riding a motorcycle with an Arab boy. The motorcycle crashes, the young woman is fatally injured, and the boy disappears from the scene along with the motorcycle. A community police officer who happens upon the scene notices a fleeing figure and sets off on a chase that ends in failure. The investigation that opens following the event is told from the perspectives of several characters - Jews and Arabs - whose fates intersect in one tragic moment that decides their fates.
