The story follows Marina, a 26-year-old Brazilian woman raised on a farm in the countryside of São Paulo by her widowed father. Torn between her dream of becoming a musician and the obligation to take over the family business, Marina's life takes an unexpected turn when she fails an international audition. In search of herself, she travels to Chiang Mai, Thailand.
