The Giddy Game Show is an animated play-along puzzle quiz show for pre-school children, on Children's ITV made by Yorkshire Television from 1985 to 1987. Scripts were by Marian Lines and Joy Whitby. This series was set in an observatory and involved a little alien called Giddy who flew around on a magic pencil, indicating the correct answer to the viewers at home. Notable for the casting of Redvers Kyle as the voice of Giddy and Bernard Bresslaw as his ape assistant.
