Mariana is a successful wedding planner who doesn't really believe in marriage. After seeing her mother fail in various attempts, Mariana does not want the same for her, which is why she decided to end her relationship with Luis, who proposed to her almost a year ago. After Mariana broke off the engagement, she and Luis have not seen each other again, until they meet at a wedding that she has organized and for which Luis, an expert confectioner, has prepared the cake. In the awkward encounter, neither of them wants to accept their true feelings towards the other and Luis invents a lie: he is about to marry Lucía, his Colombian friend who has been living with him for months. The lie escalates until Mariana offers to organize the wedding. As the preparations for her ex's wedding progress, but she will soon begin to regret her decisions, although it may be too late.
