John Marvin Perkins, known professionally as John Hawkes, has appeared in many television series, most notably Deadwood, Eastbound & Down, Lost and most recently True Detective: Night Country. On the silver screen he is known for The Perfect Storm (2000), The Sessions (2012), Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005) and Winter's Bone (2010)
