BINGE REPORT: Netflix Originals Take The Top 3

Will "Lucifer" break our Binge Report record? Netflix

The “Lucifans” are hardcore! Lucifer (No. 1) remains king for a seventh week in a row as the fantasy series leads our Binge Report with 4.50% of binge sessions. Meanwhile, newer Netflix releases, Marvel’s Jessica Jones and Trinkets, climb from last week’s positions to No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, and the latest season of Dark (No. 5) brings the German sci-fi thriller back into the top 10.

On the linear front, the sci-fi trend continues with the latest season of post-apocalyptic drama, The 100 (No. 6). Additionally, NBC favorites such as Good Girls (No. 7) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (No. 9) maintain placement during their respective hiatuses while Game of Thrones barely hangs on at No. 10, one month after its series finale.

With a third and final season of Legion on the way, and new mini-series, The Rook and The Loudest Voice, what will next week’s report look like? We will tell all next Tuesday!

DID YOU KNOW? If we sample balanced against just the US population for this week's Binge Report (which we can do), these would be the top five ranked for the previous week:

  1. Marvel’s Jessica Jones (6.90%)
  2. Lucifer (1.73%)
  3. Designated Survivor (1.67%)
  4. The Handmaid’s Tale (1.31%)
  5. Grey’s Anatomy (1.12%)
