Au départ j'étais perplexe, le fait d'être une série marvel me donnait pas spécialement envie car je n'accroche pas du tout au genre, mais s'agissant de l'univers des x men, je me suis dis pourquoi pas.

J'ai bien fait, je me suis pris une claque magistrale, cette série est une vraie merveille, une belle surprise, l'image est tout juste sublime, on reconnait bien la patte du créateur a qui l'on doit une série exceptionnelle qui n'est autre que Fargo.

Chaque scène est travaillée au peigne fin, le cadre, l'esthétisme, rien n'est laissé au hasard, d'ailleurs certaines scènes sont mémorables tant pas leur originalité que leur beauté.

Pour ce qui est de l'histoire, je vous laisse découvrir et je laisse le suspens en entier car moins on en sait, plus on apprécie la série qui réserve son lot de surprises.

Enfin pour les acteurs, Aubrey Plaza (parks and recreation) nous gratifie d' une performance remarquable qui a mon avis, lui permettra d'avoir de multiples propositions aléchantes, pour la performance de Dan Stevens, elle est tout aussi honorable, de même que pour les autres acteurs.

Donc un conseil, si vous hésitez, lancez vous, c'est une série assez courte, on accroche très vite et elle apporte une fraicheur qui se fait parfois rare .

Ho visto un bel po' di confusione (quasi ai livelli di David) e per questo sono fortemente convinto ci sia bisogno di fare un po' di chiarezza.
Partiamo dalla produzione della serie:
NON È UN PRODOTTO MARVEL STUDIOS
Sì, è vero che alla fine di ogni puntata viene proiettato lo scarlatto logo della casa delle idee ma Legione, figlio del Professor X, come Wolverine e tutti gli altri X-Men, possono essere trasposti cinematograficamente esclusivamente dalla Fox che ne detiene i diritti, nonostante siano un prodotto Marvel. È giusto che ci sia il logo Marvel nei titoli di coda ma la produzione Fox, il canale FX sul quale viene trasmessa la serie dovrebbe aiutarvi, non consente alla serie di entrare a far parte della continuity del MCU (e a quanto pare neanche di quella dei mutanti). Peccato, da una parte, però questo sta dando, e darà in futuro, la possibilità di sviluppare al meglio il personaggio senza l'obbligo di doverlo incastrare all'interno di un arco narrativo più ampio.
DAVID LEGIONE HALLER
È (quasi) inutile che stia qui a ripeterlo: Dave soffre di schizofrenia, o perlomeno questa è la spiegazione scientifica delle sue capacità, e di disturbo di personalità multiple. In particolare, ci sono due aspetti da valutare attentamente:
- Lui non sa di avere dei poteri; questo permette alla serie di avere un imprinting psicodiagnostico abbastanza preciso. Nella prima parte della serie (Spoiler-free) il protagonista entrerà a contatto con l'ambiente medico che cercherà di dare una spiegazione a quello che gli succede senza entrare nel campo della fantascienza e l'aspetto psicologico (sia a livello di patologia che a livello di caratterizzazione del personaggio) è svolto in maniera ottima e così come una buona terapia da i suoi frutti con assiduità e perseveranza anche il protagonista, e gli spettatori, riusciranno a venirne a capo strada facendo.
- Lui non sa, nemmeno, di avere più personalità; questo punto si ricollega alle ultime righe del punto precedente. Tutti i dubbi verranno sciolti lungo la serie che è ben studiata per mettere lo spettatore nella posizione di voler sapere cosa succederà nella puntata successiva. Se la curiosità vi dilania e volete cercare di capire qualcosa in più su quello che accade nelle prime puntate (ve lo sconsiglio, basta avere solo un po' di pazienza) potete farvi aiutare da Google e capire cosa assilla la mente del giovane David.

Chiariti questi temi, che sembrano essere quelli che più hanno destabilizzato chi aveva intenzione di guardare la serie, o chi l'ha cominciata ma si è precipitato nel volerci capire qualcosa, è una serie che consiglio vivamente (e lo dico nonostante la mia idiosincrasia nei confronti dell'universo mutante) non solo per le tematiche e per la storia affrontati ma anche per l'esecuzione: sia la scrittura che la trasposizione delle idee del regista e degli sceneggiatori sembrano essere quasi magistrali. Probabilmente le tempistiche e la scansione dei tempi non sono adatte a quei consumatori di serie TV abituati a fare binge watching (per dire, se la produzione fosse stata Netflix e avessero rilasciato tutti gli episodi insieme forse avrebbe goduto di una migliore valutazione da parte del pubblico) ma vi assicuro che andando avanti le cose saranno più chiare e non potrete fare a meno di sapere come andrà a finire.

Introducing Legion for N00B

I've seen quite a bit 'of confusion (almost to the levels of David) and why I strongly believe we need to do some' clarity.
