I am so glad they brought this show back. I always watched the earlier episodes with Drew Carey as they aired and am so glad to see this show on again. I love Aisha Tyler but dislike the fact that almost every single episode has a 'special' guest. Honestly I never heard of most of them. I know the CW wants a young audience, but as someone who is young (less than 30 years old), I just want the cast that is there, and maybe Aisha interacting time from time. Guests like Cedric The Entertainer was amazing and them having Penn and Teller is fantastic, but I really just wish it was just the 5 of them with Laura Hall and Linda Taylor and that's it.

Agreed, the guests hardly ever bring anything worthwhile to the table in the new CW episodes. They are all just used as shameless plugs for their other CW shows.

September 2017

Agreed! Some of them are cool and do get interactive which makes the episode better, but those that are just there to do a quick act and get their name out there suck.

April 2018

I agree. I wish they had more episodes without special guest stars.

I am happy it is back but the hostest is the worse!!!! Catastrophe!
Also too much work with "special" guests

I'm only watching the ABC ones. Tried the cw era. But just not as funny. Colin and Ryan must have just gone dry. (ABC is s1-8)

One of my favourite stand up shows. Prefer the US version over the UK one. The UK is a little wooden and feels very strict and formal where the US version is loose and free.

I love the original US version with Drew Carey, he had charisma and was effortlessly funny plus he had great chemisty with the guys. I don't mind Aisha to be honest, it's just she doesn't really get in there the way Drew did.

Ryan, Colin and Wayne are amazing! I little better in the original 8 seasons as I think they have to be more aware in this crazy PC world we live in today so the comedy suffers a little.

In the reboot the guest stars are terrible and I'm glad they scraped them a bit in later seasons, they add nothing to the show and are purely there because they are in a show on the CW. It was better when they used audience members because at least then they knew the show, they knew what to expect and what to do.
