In mid-October 1998, Enjou Tomoe is attacked by several bullies from his school, until Ryougi Shiki appears and saves him. She decides to give him a place to hide after learning that she has apparently murdered someone. But several days after the incident, there is no sign that the alleged murder has taken place.
