Emiliano De Vito is a twenty-two year old who has just graduated in Ancient Literature. Vittorio Vezzosi wrote a book, published in 1995, which gave him global success and convinced him to retire to a life as a hermit. The two travel aboard an old jeep, headed to Milan, to the fair-market of the eighties and nineties. Vezzosi has in fact agreed to give a speech, breaking a silence that lasted more than twenty years. It will be an opportunity to come to terms with the past, and with the gaze of a country hostage to nostalgia and lost in self-memory.
