Roger Moore

Born Oct 14, 1927 in Stockwell, London, England, UK

Roger George Moore was best known for his portrayal of James Bond in seven films - including Live And Let Die and The Spy Who Loved Me - between 1973 and 1985, and as Simon Templar in the television adaptation of The Saint. Roger Moore worked tirelessly with UNICEF, becoming a Goodwill Ambassador in 1991, and received a knighthood in 2003 for his work with the organization.
