A Franco-German miniseries inspired by true events, recounting the story of the Yellow Expedition. In 1931, industrialist André Citroën, with the support of the French government and private organizations, organized this highly publicized expedition: a car journey across Central Asia, from Beirut to Beijing. The expedition was divided into two groups. The first, the Pamir group, led by Georges Marie Haardt, chief engineer of the Citroën factories, departed from Beirut on April 4th. The second, led by Lieutenant Commander Victor Point, set out from northeast Beijing to meet the other group. They joined forces in the Qingjiang River on October 8th. The two groups arrived in Beijing on February 12, 1932.
