Tells the story of two Genoese families, who own shipyards: the Ghiglione and the Decaro. The first, led by Sebastiano Ghiglione, who is in a crisis with himself (due to work and family). The other led by Giacomo Decaro, together with the creative and innovative ideas of his son Marco, who has always been in love with Francesca Ghiglione. Between the two will be born a love that will be hindered by both families and by various marginal characters.
