Heisuke Hara, a teacher at an all-boys high school in Shizuoka, has lived with the fallout of a life-changing accident 15 years ago. Obsessed with his hometown and alma mater, he now faces another challenge: declining enrollment has forced a merger with a nearby girls’ school. As the schools prepare with a joint culture festival, Hara struggles to make it a success.
