"Beginners versus Winners" is a snippet from the show "The Best Show in the World" and was originally titled "Being there is expensive". The concept: amateurs compete against professionals in sporting disciplines. In order for the amateurs to have a real chance of winning, the professionals receive handicaps and are therefore clearly restricted in the competition. In the pilot episode within the "best show in the world", for example, swimming professional Markus Deibler had to wear a thick jacket and ski boots in the swimming race against the amateur. If the amateurs win their competitions, they qualify for the grand final.
