Some people are born with rare medical conditions that cause them to exhibit physical abnormalities. `Medical Anomalies' profiles some people with such conditions to help people understand the cause of the conditions and to try to figure out if anything can be done to improve the quality of life for the affected parties. The people with rare conditions featured on the hourlong episodes include a man with massive facial tumours that can only be removed by a life-threatening surgery, a boy who has a parasitic twin that causes four extra limbs to grow out of his chest, and a teenager who cries bloody tears.
