The girl group I.O.I, who has gained popularity through Produce 101, will be appearing on the new show starting April 22.
Standby I.O.I will document Produce 101 winners, Jeon Somi, Kim Sejeong, Choi Yoojung, Kim Chungha, Kim Sohye, Zhou Jieqiong, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Doyeon, Kang Mina, Lim Nayoung and Yu Yeonjung, as they prepare for their debut as I.O.I. It will feature their daily lives as they record music, practice dance moves and film music videos.
The show is a great way for fans to get to know the girls as their personalities and relationship with each other is revealed. Standby I.O.I will have a total of 2 episodes to air on April 22 and 29.
Meanwhile, in celebration of Standby I.O.I, the 11 winners of Produce 101 have created 24 emoticons that will be available for purchase in the Kakao emoticon store beginning April 22.
