The "Album" is a collective biography, born from the theatrical performances that Marco Paolini began to bring to Italian theaters 17 years ago and that preceded and coexisted with his most famous shows. These shows were filmed partly in real places with the public, theatres but also railway depots, old stations and rugby fields, and all this together with a sort of 'diary' of what happened beyond the theater, from training to the rugby field, walking along the tracks, traveling... The theatrical stories have thus become a serial story for television, a series of short episodes in which Paolini tells not the story of Italy, but "one" Italian story, the story of a generation, but also a point of view on a period on which accounts and wounds are still open.
