Bernie and Ert is an obscene parody of Sesame Street. Bernie and Ert are two bisexual characters that look like Ernie and Bert from Sesame Street, but they only have one eye and no nose, and reversed hairstyles. Their rough fun mostly turns about crime, drug use and sadomasochistic practices and are therefore aimed exclusively at an adult audience. The figures were drawn by Attik Kargar and appeared in his book Zeltee Tiere. Cordula Thonett (puppet theater in the dressing room) used the cartoons and stars of the children's series to build them two dolls. On February 13, 2003, Bernie and Ert were removed for legal concerns.
