After the sudden and suspicious death of Thun, the king of Bongomia, a complicated story begins when the Prince, whom no one takes seriously and whose family doesn't even bother to give him a name, takes the throne. As the Prince struggles with his stepmother, aunt and treacherous uncle, he is inadvertently dragged into a war with the Hungarians.
