Abigail Kathleen Breslin is an American actress and singer. Born and raised in New York City, Breslin began acting in commercials when she was six years old and made her film debut in M. Night Shyamalan's science fiction horror film Signs (2002), for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award. Her early roles also include Raising Helen (2004) and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004).
