The series is based on the book "Kao i sva ravnica" from the author Nenad Canak. It's theme is the destiny of brothers Jagodic who live on their rich family estate in the period between 19th and 20th century. The series is supposed to bring us the part of the past of Serbs, Banat and Vojvodina. Being a Serbian family, Jagodic's are a count family loyal to Austro-Hungarian empire. They have a big influence on historical, cultural and economical shaping of Banat and Vojvodina.
