Everyone knows everyone in the small town of Aschberg in northern Germany. The ex-police officer and now private detective Finn Zehender is investigating and, despite life-threatening attacks on him, keeps his sense of humor. Together with the law student Agnes Sonntag, who poses as a public prosecutor, he convicts murderers and masterminds of the corrupt machinations in Aschberg.
