Ronnie (Ronnie Corbett) is married to Laura (Rosemary Leach). Every morning, he dons his pinstripe suit and bowler hat and sets off to catch the train to work. He usually travels in the same compartment as his pompous neighbour Henry (Henry McGee), who works in the same office. Although small in stature, Ronnie has a lot of big ideas and a burning ambition to improve his status.
