In “Influencers” the humor is poked fun at people who try to profile themselves as trendsetters via social media. With that, they make a not very successful shot at their own eternal #InstaFame on the internet. Their foolish attempts to please, the battle for record likes, the stupid boundaries they try to push or the glorious emptiness of their existence will string these #funnysketches together. But as foolish and laughable as they are, sometimes they deserve our compassion too. Because Influencers is also a bit about people who, like so many others, want to make a difference in this earthly life and who want to count by making a small imprint of their existence.
