Spring 2006. A climate of terror reigns in western Montreal. For weeks now, a man has been breaking into the residences at dusk and threatening the people there with a gun point. He sequesters them, steals them, then disappears into the night. In 2006 and 2009, the stranger committed 1 murder, 13 home invasions, 3 attempted murders and 1 hostage-taking, in addition to leaving dozens of families traumatized. Produced by the crew of The Last Night, the documentary series presents for the first time the underside of this spectacular hunt. Through the eyes of journalist Patrick Lagacé, who has been interested in this case for more than a decade and who is a keen observer of police work, the series sheds light on several aspects of this story which are, until now day, remained in the shadows.
