Tarek is a married psychiatrist. On his daughter's first birthday, Tawfiq visits him in his clinic, and explains to Tariq an experiment he wants to carry out. It depends on his choice of a person he calls (the chosen one), who exposes him to successive self-destructive crises over the course of thirty days, to see what he will turn into in the end.
